Jorge S. Kuperman,  President and CEO

Jorge S. Kuperman, AIA and 2006 President of the Miami Chapter, AIA, has been drawn throughout his life to the plastic arts, to construction, technology, and creative process. Architecture, a synthesizes of all these disciplines, allows him to make a profession of his passions. “I see every project as parenthood,” he explains, “a created future, a part of me that will continue being, serving, and having impact.”

Jorge came to America from Buenos Aires, Argentina 25 years ago, learned English, worked in construction and design, became a licensed architect, and became active in the architecture industry in South Florida.
In addition to many years of involvement with the American Institute of Architects, Miami Chapter, Jorge is currently serving in the Planning Board of the City of Miami Beach; he is past Board Member of the Miami – Dade Empowerment Trust and past Vice President of the Venetian Islands Homeowners Association.
His involvement with the art of building started during his teenage years, when he graduated in 1972 with a degree of Construction Headmaster from the National School of Technical Education in Buenos Aires.
In 1980 Kuperman graduated with a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1981 he relocated to the United States, where he became a Licensed General Contractor in 1983. From 1981 until 1988 Kuperman worked for several prestigious architectural firms in South Florida.
In 1983, Kuperman created JSK International, Inc, a construction firm. He has built many types of structures for different building owners, including Miami Dade County Solid Waste Management Department, Florida International University, Village of Miami Shores, City of Miami, Toras Emes Academy, Carrier America, Archdiocese of Miami and Clinton International Group. In 1985, Kupeman created JSK Architectural Group, he says:  “We believe in technical solutions to difficult problems and stylish solutions to any problem” this philosophy has earned Jorge and his firm several awards and the recognition of many satisfied clients.
